In short
Pallets Recycle operates one yard — 10400 Evendale Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45241 — and reaches 24 US markets from it across nine states. Eight of those are core routes on company equipment inside a 250-mile radius; the rest are scheduled regional and partner lanes. Every market below has its own page describing what is genuinely different about moving pallets there: the footprints that dominate, the dock and access constraints, and whether we are usually buying or selling in that direction.

Postal code and rough volume is enough. We will tell you which lane you are on, what the next available window is, and what freight adds — as a separate line, not buried in a unit price.

The wider US network
Consolidated weekly and biweekly loads, plus scheduled partner lanes where distance puts a market beyond company equipment. We label which is which rather than blurring them together.
- 01Chicago, ILChicago is the densest pallet market in North America and the hardest one to serve cheaply. Everything about it is decided by rail.296 mi · Weekly consolidated loads
- 02Detroit, MIDetroit runs on returnable containers, and the pallet underneath them is a quality-controlled part, not a consumable.263 mi · Weekly, more during launch season
- 03Cleveland, OHHeavy industry, heavy loads. Cleveland is where our four-stringer and solid-deck builds earn their keep.249 mi · Weekly standing route
- 04Toledo, OHGlass, automotive glass, and a fragile-load problem almost nobody else has at this scale.199 mi · Weekly, paired with Detroit runs
- 05Akron & Canton, OHPolymer country. Bulk bags, drums and a footprint problem that a 48x40 does not solve.232 mi · Weekly, shared with Cleveland
- 06Pittsburgh, PARiver terminals, natural gas, and a topography that decides what equipment can actually reach your dock.289 mi · Biweekly consolidated
- 07Charleston & Huntington, WVChemical valley. Drum footprints, strict contamination rules, and a market most recyclers skip.197 mi · Biweekly, on-call between runs
- 08Fort Wayne, INWire, medical devices and a steady, well-behaved core supply that punches above the metro size.174 mi · Weekly standing route
- 09South Bend & Elkhart, INThe RV capital of the world, and the most violently seasonal pallet demand we handle.251 mi · Weekly, seasonal surge capacity
- 10Grand Rapids, MIOffice furniture, food processing and the most quality-sensitive pallet buyers outside automotive.336 mi · Biweekly consolidated
- 11Nashville, TNThe fastest-growing distribution market on our map, and the tightest dock schedules.272 mi · Weekly consolidated loads
- 12Knoxville, TNHardwood country. The best core supply per mile we have anywhere.280 mi · Biweekly, on-call between runs
- 13Memphis, TNAir freight gravity. Enormous one-way inbound volume and a weight problem most markets never face.480 mi · Partner lane, scheduled
- 14St. Louis, MORiver, rail and a brewing industry that made the 36x36 footprint normal here.345 mi · Biweekly consolidated
- 15Evansville, INRiver port, pharmaceutical manufacturing and appliance supply — three very different pallet specifications in one small market.227 mi · Biweekly standing route
- 16Bowling Green, KYA small market on a very good lane — which makes it one of the better-priced places we serve.226 mi · Weekly, on the Nashville lane
Nine states, one yard
We would rather be genuinely good across a region than nominally national. A pallet trucked four hundred miles has undone much of the point of recycling it.

Why a radius rather than a network
Transport is the dominant emissions cost in a recycled pallet's life and the largest single line on most invoices past a hundred miles. A pallet trucked four hundred miles has undone much of the point of recycling it, and a nameplate office in another state does not change where the wood is actually processed.
| Distance band | Freight as share of delivered cost | What we tell you |
|---|---|---|
| 0 – 30 miles | ~6% | Optimise grade, not freight. Will-call is often cheapest. |
| 31 – 75 miles | ~11% | Avoid split drops; otherwise unit-price led. |
| 76 – 130 miles | ~19% | Full loads over part loads. The crossover band. |
| 131 – 200 miles | ~27% | Round-trip pairing is the largest lever available. |
| 201 – 250 miles | ~34% | Full loads only. Ask about shared route days. |
| 251 – 400 miles | ~41% | Consolidated or partner. Labelled as such, not blurred. |
| Over 400 miles | ~48% | Freight exceeds the wood. We will usually suggest somebody closer. |
